Warm Autumn Naturals

Step 5
hello there! my name is olivia and this is my make-up/beauty blog. i've been interested in make-up ever since i was little, i'd love buying them cheap sticky lip glosses you could get from claires! on here i will be posting tips i've found, things about skin care routines and reviews on hair products, make-up, skin products etc. to start the blog off, i'll show you how to get a natural autumn, with a few summer vibes, type look. it is SO easy to do, the look is simple and based on the colour scheme of pink and peachy type colours. first of all, you will need:
- eye primer (or concealer will do)
- a white/gold eye-shadow
- a light pink eye-shadow
- a frosted peachy pink eye-shadow
- mascara
- a black eye-pencil
- light pink blusher
- clear/nude lip-gloss

it sounds like a lot, but it only takes around 10 minutes to do! start with a base of minimal foundation, conceal any blemishes and/or dark circles with good concealer if you have to.

Step 1 - okay so, first of all you need to prime your eyelids, because primer makes the eye-shadow smooth and even, and helps it last longer. you won't have time to re-apply your eye-shadow when you're too busy opening your presents!  i'm using a Karen Millen one, in shade 'Sunlight 203' it looks quite dark compared to my skin tone, but once you blend it in it looks more natural. you can use either your fingers or an eye brush for this, depends on how much time you've got on your hands. smooth the primer all over your eyelid, making sure it's blended in properly.

Step 2- next, you want to take the white/gold eye-shadow and using an eye brush, apply it in an up and down motion over the eyelid, and then back and forth across the crease. take the colour to the outer edge, and blend a bit into the inner corner. for this i'm using the Shimmer Brick Compact, in Bronze by Bobbi Brown.

Step 3 - take the light pink eye-shadow (i'm using Quatra Eye Shadow, in 53 Fascination by Chanel) . with the frosted peachy pink eye-shadow, take it across the crease and outwards. make sure you blend well!( i'm using the Shimmer Brick Compact again)

Step 4 - now, you want to take the eyeliner and draw a thin line, starting from the outer corner to the inner, gradually going from a thick line to a thin line. for the eyeliner i'm using MAC Smoulder Eye Kohl in Black, and for the mascara i'm using Sumptuous Bold Volume Lifting Mascara in Black. after this, coat your eyelashes with a few layers of mascara. it should end up looking like this:

Step 5- now, get a nice fluffy blusher brush (i'm using MAC Blusher in Spring Sheen) and dot the pink blusher across the apples of your cheeks, before finally sweeping across your cheek bone. don't put too much on though!

finally, apply a nude, clear or light pink lipgloss on moisturized lips, and there you have it, all done!
